ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - ATTENDANCE
12 month fixed term, part-time, 18.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 10am-1.45pm and Friday 10am-1.30pm), term time only.

Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

We are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to support the Attendance Manager who is committed to ensuring that our students achieve more than they ever thought possible. 

As an Administration Assistant for attendance, you will work across both Merchants’ Academy Secondary and Primary as part of the attendance team.  You will be responsible for supporting the Attendance Manager in identifying individual students and groups in improving their attendance and promoting and rewarding good attendance. 

You will:

Be educated to a high standard with a minimum of GCSE Grade C in maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).
Drive the Academy's vision and expectations to have a significant impact on students' life chances
Be bold, optimistic and tenacious in setting and achieving high standards
Communicate and relate to students to enable you to build effective working relationships.
 
It would also be desirable for the successful candidate to have an understanding of the relevant legislation in relation to attendance and experience of implementing and managing attendance processes and systems in line with best practice.
