Admissions
Merchants' Academy is an all inclusive school that welcomes children of all abilities, from the whole of the Withywood area and beyond.
We will admit up to 182 students to Year 7 each September. The Academy opened in September 2008 and will grow annually to a full enrolment of 1150 students, including our Post 16 facility.
If parents wish to apply for a place in other year groups or the sixth form, they should contact Jill Stanley, PA to the Principal on 0117 3015035.
The Academy is part of the Co-ordinated Secondary Admissions Scheme and prospective students must therefore complete the Local Authority's application form, which can be found here:
