Specialist Facilities
Merchants' Academy is housed in a brand new £30million building and our facilities are second-to-none.
We have drama studios and performance halls, where students recently put on a production of Bugsy Malone, dance studios, where dance clubs learn a range of routines, and design studios where students learn graphical drawing techniques.
Teaching and learning in each subject area is enhanced by state-of-the art equipment, such as mac computer suites, recording and sound engineering studios, and a wide range of design and technology equipment.
We also have a range of specialist facilities to support our vocational qualification pathways, such as a fully equipped hairdressing salon, professional restaurant kitchen, bricklaying yard, and a carpentry workshop.
