Courses Offered

Here at MA16 we offer a large range of courses. These range from traditional A-Level and BTECs as well as apprenticeships ran through external organisations that work alongside us at MA16. Our wide and balanced curriculum will allow students to have a vast array of opportunities when they leave MA16. This could be applying to university courses, apprenticeships or to entering into full time employment. This is all designed to suit the needs of the individual.

We also run a formal induction programme that supports all students so that they make a successful transition to studying at MA16. We hold a freshers week during the first week of September to fully embed students into our sixth form. During this day, students are given bridging tasks which are designed to introduce students to some of the skills they will need to develop to be successful independent learners at Post 16. Not only does our enrichment week develop skills it also allows students to build bonds with their peers and the staff alike, so all students feel comfortable and supported whilst they are with us. At MA16 the pastoral and support system is what truly sets us apart.
