World Autism Awareness Week


An international event to encourage everyone to learn about Autism and raise global awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).


Primary joined together with students from Venturers' Academy for a special assembly on Friday 31st March, with all the students at Primary wearing blue to support autism.

Students were introduced to 'What is Autism' and both academies given the opportunity for students to share their special interests and talents. The assembly highlighted that everyone is 'unique' and has their own special talents that need to be celebrated.

At lunch time a group of students played a friendly football match with students from Venturers' Academy. The teams were mixed up and everyone enjoyed getting to know eachother and building new friendships.
