MINI BUS DRIVER/PASSENGER ASSISTANT

Fixed term until April 2022, part -time 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am-11.30am) term time only, to start as soon as possible.

VTG4 Scale Point 11, £17,363 per annum, pro rata (actual salary £6,020 per annum) + Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package).

Venturers Trust is an emerging Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

Merchants’ Academy are seeking to appoint a Mini Bus driver to transport staff and pupils to and from sporting fixtures, organised trips and pupil’s homes, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times in compliance with general legislation and specifically Health and Safety legislation

The successful candidate will have:

• Held a clean driving licence for at least 24 months

• The ability to communicate and relate to staff, students and parents alike.

• The ability to work independently as well as constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
