A Better Journey to Work for students at Merchants' Academy
All together offers “A Better Journey to Work” for students within Merchants' Academy with dedicated, impartial and independent advice by a qualified guidance professional.
Services are personalised with a modern approach to career guidance which focuses on developing pupils' skills, empowering decision making and choice of destination.
All together work closely with employers and providers within the local labour market not only to deliver upto date careers guidance but to offer students a wider range of opportunities to explore job roles with a combination of employer visits, career related events and coordination of valuable work experience.
All together are guided by the belief that:
- Education must prepare young people for an active working life. We work with schools and leaders in education seeking to achieve the same.
- Promoting broad educational values determine a young persons success. We affirm and develop natural strengths of character or experiences alongside traditional academic and vocational aims
- Young people must experience many and diverse school experiences of success. We encourage an approach that provides young people with more than simple binary experience of a pass or fail
Feel free to arrange an appointment with Emma Lyle (All together Guidance Professional and the Academy’s independent and impartial Careers Guidance Professional) or take a look at the All together website for further information on the support that schools can access.
