Community Engagement Youth Worker
Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) term time only plus 4 weeks role to start as soon as possible.
VTG 10 Scale Point 30 – 33, starting salary £29,174 per annum, pro rata (actual starting salary £26,296 per annum + Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package)
We are seeking to appoint a Community Engagement Youth Worker who is highly ambitious for students and committed to ensuring that vulnerable children achieve more than they ever thought possible.
As a Community Engagement Youth worker, you will lead on the engagement of students academically in order to accelerate attainment, achievement and aspiration for disengaged students. Your role will involve working closely with the Inclusion Manager to deliver a programme of support tailored to students’ individual needs which delivers expected academic outcomes and attitudes for employability.
ï§ Be educated to a high standard with a GCSE Grade C in Maths and English
ï§ Drive the Academy's vision and expectations to have a significant impact on students' life chances
ï§ Be bold, optimistic and tenacious in setting and achieving high standards
ï§ Communicate and relate to students to enable you to build effective working relationships
ï§ Have a proven track record of supporting students in a learning environment
