EYFS SUPPORT WORKER

Fixed term until 31/08/2024, part-time 33.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, term time only to start in September 2023.

VTG6, SP17-SP18 starting salary £20,297 per annum, pro rata (actual starting salary £15,718 per annum) plus Health Care Cash Plan and Benefits Package.

Merchants’ Academy is an all age Academy based in Withywood, Bristol with students from Nursery through to Sixth Form. Merchants’ Academy is part of Venturers Trust which is sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers together with the University of Bristol. The Trust comprises Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school with 3,500 pupils and 750 staff. The Academy provides an exceptional environment for students and staff.

We are looking to recruit an EYFS Support Worker to join an exciting and committed team at Merchants’ Academy, Primary. We are seeking a dedicated individual who will encourage and support students with personal and hygiene needs and support the Class Teacher in their work.

The successful candidate will have:

• GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent qualifications).
• Experience of working effectively supporting children in a learning environment

• Experience of working effectively in a learning / childcare setting
